The Next Industrial Revolution: Molecular Nanotechnology & Manufacturing
The future of nanotechnology relies on being able to first create the tools and instruments that will enable us to effectively position matter and build complex structures with atomically precise control. Examples of these so-called "pick-and-shovel" tools include scanning probe microscopes (SPMS), molecular tweezers, and dip-pen lithographics.
